Hi again, just me

Journal Entry: Wed Jun 20, 2012, 1:29 AM

Hey howdy hey!

Thought I best update, cause Im all awesome like that. Ha!

Mouth: Well, one stitch fell out and judging by the flappy cotton ends some more should be out by tomorrow, and then the rest soon after. Or at least fingers crossed. I've discovered the joys of battered fish, which I can nom fairly well! Did buy a stick blender thing so I can start making mashes, which will become even more important in the coming weeks when the rest of my teethypegs go byebye!  Healing well, almost all the swelling is gone and I can put pressure on some parts of my gums. The side I had the original infection in is still tender but deff healing :D
Also, Im fairly sure Im losing weight!

School: Started back on Monday. I picked up a new class thats called "Preparation for work skills" So basically team-building, resume writing, sitting interviews, that stuff. I've never had an interview before, Hell every job I've had, I've walked into, no resume needed. With this new class added to the 3 Im already taking I now go 5 days a week and I have to say Im quite enjoying it, even if the work is a little lax at times.

Crochet: Released a new pattern yesterday, which marked my 30th charity/free pattern. Pretty ubber proud. Its a hat and bootie set for 22-26 weeks gestation and its very cute. You can check it out here: [link]
Psst while your there, be a gem and click an advert  Got an adsence account so I could maybe make a few extra bucks of my blog seems I get a crapload of traffic now. W00t for my earnings of $2 haha!

Resources: I think its pretty apparent that I wont be doing model stock for a long time. Atleast, not until I get my dentures and lose some fatty fat fat  Ive been getting back into digi scrapping so you can expect sets of them, and Ill be doing some more of the kids soon. I have material I need to use up and thought I could make some princess/fairy dresses with it, and lets face it who doesn't love cute kids stock!

And so there is todays newsflash! Check back in a week for the next instalment of The Life Of Shell  :lmao:

On a side note: Read a recipe that was like "Mix one can of coke with one packet mix cake and microwave for 7 minutes to make amazing caek!"

Yes, Yes I NEED to try that. Tonight infact!

Coke plus dough in michrowave equals BOOM.

Glad the healing is progressing. You know, I never mashed my food. Not with a blender anyhow. I have the strongest tongue in the universe and the roof of my mounth has turned to steel. Be patient to get those plastic choppers. The longer you wait, the better they will fit.

As to the fatty fat fat, you are not fat. You are pleasantly round in all the right places. Nic has good taste in women and I have a l;ovely god daughter. Many hugs, Hon. Be well Down Under. Chow.

I used a chocolate packet mix by Greens, but any packet mix would work the same way. Ive also seen it done with vanilla cake and lemonaid.

Teethy-pegs :giggle: you're in pain and yet you still make us all laugh.

I have one of those stick blender things! It is awesome. I have had it for years and use it often. My favorite thing to make is a shake. I take organic-soy frozen dessert, any flavor I can eat (food allergies limits the flavors) and add almond milk to it. I can add Nestlé's chocolate or vanilla then use the blender thingy to make a shake right in the glass! I make it really thick so I can use a Spoon to eat it.

The little outfits are so precious. I noticed you are on GoodReads and read a review. I signed up on my phone, so I will have to remember to add you to my friend list to get your reviews.

I really like fish. I will bake a piece in the toaster oven wrapped in foil with a bit of oil and season-all and it comes out soft and delicious. :aww:

Ohh shake sounds divine! So far Ive only used mine to much up veggies and soups but Ill get more creative :D I used to have one years ago when the kids were babies because I made all my own baby food. Srsly, the commercial stuff I woudnt feed to a dog letalone a kid YUK! I don't have a toaster oven but I guess I can do the same thing in the normal oven now its fixed. Im quite enjoying the fish :D Now see look at that, whole new range of food Id have never bothered to explore if I had my teeth still! Totally going for the positives here :giggle:

GoodReads is great. Tho, Im a little behind in my 50 in a year challenge. I usually read before bed but lately Ive been just crawling in and passing out. Im sure once everything settles down Ill have time to finish some more books.
Im going to set Lilly an account up because I realised they list kids novels on there too! How amazing to beable to keep a reading list from the age of 10, its going to be amazing in a few years time to look back on what she has read.

It's good to hear u are feeling better all the time, and lack of being able to nom is tough but when it results in weight loss it ain't so bad. Looking forward to more kids stock too :)
